Compare two lists and find the differences
Two exports of the same customer file, yesterday's list and today's: what was added, what disappeared? Choose one column on each side, and the tool sorts every value by whether it is in one, in the other, or in both.
What this tool does
- What is only in the first list, only in the second, and what is common.
- Optionally ignore case, extra spaces and accents, to bring close spellings together.
- The result, one value per row with its side, saves to Excel, CSV or ODS.
- Two files, or two sheets of the same workbook.
- Everything happens in your browser, nothing is sent.
What it does not do: The tool compares one column against one column (a value is present or not); to match rows and bring back columns, see Reconcile two lists or VLOOKUP between two files.
No file is uploaded. Turn off your network once this page has loaded: the tool keeps working. How to check it yourself.

- Compare two Excel files : Two versions of the same table: added rows, removed rows, changed cells.
